Falakumbes sweaty and energy-filled shows have made the band been compared with artists as Gogol Bordello and Chico Trujillo. According to swedish media, Falakumbe’s debut album, Tropical Blast, is a latin-punk carnival with a feeling of Mano Negra but the Andean style.

El Malo Malone is an Electro Caribbean and Hip Hop artist, that mixes sounds of Cumbia, and uses north Caribbean drum beats but with the raw sound of a Moog. El Malo Malone plays with consonant rhymes within the genre black humor. He has verbal skills like hot lava and have been compared with Cartel de Santa mixed with Resident or Celso Piña with Tropkillaz.
