Nordic Live is a live music club that crosses the borders within the Nordic countries like it just don’t care, popping up at your favourite venues in the Nordic capitals and bringing artists and music lovers from different countries together – every single club night!

Nordic Live is organized by SV (in Swedish: Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan) – one of Swedens study associations, funded by the Swedish government, in other words the Swedish people.

THE LIVING FIRST (Göteborg)

This is an up and coming band from the heart of Gothenburg consisting of Anton, Erik, Johan and Pontus and Fredrik (previously from Grand Selmer). Their passion for music stems from the passionate Rock, Indie and Grunge they grew up with in the early nineties. Today, bored with a music scene heavily reliant on over-produced EDM, they try to shake things up with a sound based on hard grooves, strings bent to the breaking point and drumheads beaten so hard it should be illegal.

The Living First promises a fantastic show with a lot of heart, sweat and dancing.

THE YEAH FORCE (CPH)

The Yeah Force is a furious garage rock band from Copenhagen. Est. 2013 by former members of Cherry Overdrive, Pilgrimz and A Devil Dimension.

THE COMMOTION (Göteborg)

This band was founded by guitarist/vocalist Mikael Eriksson and bassplayer Amadou Khan in 2008. The Intention was to create a sound similar to incredible artists and groups such as: Syl Johnson, Ike & Tina Turner, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations etc. From the start, they wanted a female lead vocalist but after the first demo and a few line up changes they realised it would be more fun to handle the vocals themselves. So on the second demo Mikael Eriksson did most of the vocals and it sounded great!
