Bafo do Mundos musikere – med hjælp fra publikum – udvælger Rainha da Bateria, som er den danser, der skal danse i front foran orkestret til Københavns store karnevalsparade i pinsen 2020. Traditionen stammer fra Brasilien og det er en stor ære at blive valgt!

– Dance competition and election of Bafo do Mundo’s new Rainha da Bateria (queen of the drums) for Copenhagen Carnival 2019. Bafo do Mundo’s musicians – with help from the audience – will choose their Rainha da Bateria. She is the dancer, who will dance in front of the musicians at the big parade for Copenhagen Carnival 2019. The tradition originates in Brazil and to be chosen is a great honour!
