Balkan vs Swing is back and ready to make you dance all night like there’s no tomorrow with the first band we ever had on stage, a DJ from far far away with lots of goodies in his bag, local resident acts and of course, pouring sljivovica and lot’s of confetti!

Umti Orkestar is the story of 4 friends and their passion for world music. Umti Orkestar like to playing really loud and they like to play fast – occasionally they like to play slowly and gracefully, but often really loud, really fast!
The theme is based on the fascination of – and respect for – the traditional melodies. The music is from Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia, Romania and Turkey. Umti Orchestra is primarily a live band. If you meet them at the venues, at the weddings or in a garden at 3 o’clock in the night, you will be served a solid cocktail of hard-pounding rhythms, sweat-dripping bass, wild harmonics, and blow-headed trumpet sounds, mixed with melodies and elements from klezmer, jazz, punk, afrobeat and electronic music: Umti is the music and the music in constant development!
They play their music with strength, intensity, spontaneity and a penchant for the enchanting drops of Sljivovica!

The DJ/producer who introduced the Electro-Swing sound and scene to Tel-Aviv’s crowd for the first time in 2010.
The former classic piano player got intensely influenced by many different (traditional) styles of music while travelling. The combination of old and new, electronic beats and instrumental parts became Yossi’s signature.
As a DJ, he never fail to entertain. He travelled the world and played in countless clubs, festivals and events, including CIRQUE DE LA NUIT in Salzburg, the Circus circus team from Zurich, Lido in Berlin and many many more, sharing stages with many international artists such as Parov Stelar, Dirty Honkers, Dunkelbunt, Noze, Alice Francis and more..
Today Yossi Swing is one of the leading forces in the Electro-Swing scene worldwide. He released an EP and few tracks under the name Segment, a project formed together with Or-ron Stern aka Symbolico
