In our relentless pursuit to curate high quality Jungle and Drum & Bass, from the old school to the cutting edge, we are very proud to welcome DOUBLE O and THEORY to Copenhagen for their first performance on Danish soil! These two heavyweights of the scene are a fundamental part of the legendary movement Rupture. In their own words:
“The Rupture movement began as a way to showcase the jungle and breaks side of the drum and bass spectrum. Known for pushing experimental, cutting edge production alongside classic jungle amens, the key to the Rupture sound is having roots planted deeply in the underground.
Established as a club night by Double O & Mantra in 2006, Rupture quickly became one of the most respected parties in the UK D&B scene. Since taking up residency at Corsica Studios over 10 years ago, people have been traveling from as far as Canada, the US, and Europe just to witness the legendary Rupture vibe.
By 2012 the success of the party and DIY ethos of Jungle inspired Double O & Mantra to found a record label, allowing Rupture to further support, cultivate, and release music whose style they already cater toward: aggressive breaks, deep subs, and futuristic atmospherics.”

DOUBLE O (Rupture / Ako Beatz / aka 007) [UK]
Co-founder of Rupture, Double O has been immersed in Jungle music since 1992 when he was releasing under the name 007 on labels such as the mythical Formation Records. Coming together with Mantra in 2006, the pair set up Rupture with the aim of showcasing underrepresented sounds, developing it into one of the most respected forces in Jungle. Double O is known for his heavyweight sets and consistent deep beats on Rupture, Ako Beatz, Repertoire and more.

THEORY (Rupture / Function / Skeleton) [UK]
Theory is a true Junglist and a producer of UK D&B, Jungle, Dub and experimental music since 1992. Staying true to the craft since his riddims surfaced in 2006 through labels such as 13 Music and Digital’s Function Records, Theory has been a core member of the Rupture family since gracing their first release with the iconic ‘Rebel Alliance’. He is just as comfortable building deep rollers as he is dropping tear-out amenism.

ODD HARMONICS (Broken Audio/Alphacut) [DK]
From dark dungeons in Germany to funked-up rave floors in Colombia, Odd Harmonics has been a conveyer of bass for many years now. On top of that, he has been an integral resident DJ at Outta Endz from the beginning. Always showing versatility in both his sets and productions, he has released music with labels like Broken Audio Recordings and Alphacut Records. Expect a nutritious selection of junglistic drums and heavyweight subs.

Outta Endz originator, Audiofields is a Jungle connoisseur with a deep love for tearin’ breakbeats and earth-shattering bass. Currently residing in New York, he is making the trek across the Atlantic to ensure safe passage for all into the world of Outta Endz.

SPHERICAL ABBERATION [DE]
Ioana Bilea (Spherical Aberration) is an environmental scientist/artist, from Brasov, Romania currently living in Berlin, creating audio-visual works with ecological background. She works with music and culture events, as well as creative spaces, music and video artists doing video mappings,visuals,installations,music and videos. Her incredible shamanic projection mapping was most recently in full effect at Roskilde Festival.
