Orchestra Partisanski is a ten piece orchestra who wears high fur hats and military boots playing music that is best described as a form of Russian Balkan Rock. Any thought of being authentic has been nicely sent in the short-lived. Instead, it is the party that is in focus.
Here everyone is invited and the music ranges widely from songs like Vodkafest and Bøf Stroganof where even the heaviest bench warmers have to tap with their toes to the rocking hymns like Vodka I Mit Krus where Mr. Sliva talks about his long life in the Soviet Union.
The lyrics are – of course – delivered on a thickly broken Danish-Russian, while the universe winds itself around a fictitious Soviet Russia with stories of the joys of life on the other side of the iron curtain.

MALALATA is synonymous with a unique fusion of Balkan Beats, Gypsy Music, Cumbia and Reggae. Each performance of this DJ duo is an exuberant show filled with contagious energy and pure commitment to the music. Not only clubs throughout Europe, but also far away Japan and Mexico have come to life under their baton. The duo’s show has graced the festivals Pohoda, Grape and Uprising, and they have shared stage with such aces as Parov Stelar Band, Goran Bregović, Dubioza Kolektiv and Fanfare Ciocarlia.
MALALATA is organizers of the always-sold-out notorious BALKAN BASHAVEL parties in Slovakia and Czech Republic and they’ve just released a new remix of Mr. Loco’s ‘Balkan Revolution’ – we can’t wait to have them on stage until the early morning!
