Cocoa & Dancing Ceremony

Hi My name is Flemming and I have been honored to present our Awake Cocoa ceremonies now where Mango is in Peru for the next couple of months. Next time or the next time again Jakob will joine as a facilitator – who many of you that have been here before knows. He plays Digiridoo and many other instuments .. He will introduce himselfe later.

A little about me: I have been interested in self-development, coaching and spirituality for the last 20 years. Be on a bunch of different workshops in yoga, meditation, breathwork, tantra, dance, coaching and massage 🙂
I have danced salsa, tango, contact impro and 5 rhythms between 8 and 25 years
I myself participated in around 100 cocoa ceremonies for the last 5 years and facilitated about 15.

This time there will be more focus on sound journey because we have got a super good musician Ruta with Shaman’s whistle and maybe there’s a guy from the USA with his Crystal Bowl.
But there is no fixed program and it’s cocreated. So if you have something you wanna contribute with then write me or be spontanious.
But since we have 5 hours we’ll also have time to dance, massage and hygge 😀

I include Mango’s text from previous events because I see it as a very good Manifesto and something I totally agree with:

Imagine meeting and being together about what you love. Imagine being a child as an adult.

I invite you to a meeting with us, you and I, where we are the tools for a wonderful experience.

Our meeting and presence is the focal point. We come just as we are and do what we want. It will be a meeting with the real, the vulnerable and the right one for you.

This evening everyone is active, this is a co-creation. The doctor and the experience depends on your desire and courage to play with. There is no distance between the facilitator and you, we travel together and dance together. We laugh and cry together. It will be a ceremonial celebration, where we mix the spiritual with a smile, so it does not go out and gets too serious 🙂

We provide space for everything that grows out of fear and at the same time we give room for optimism, joy and love. We devote ourselves to each other, the dance, the magic and our inner child, the moment we come in contact with everything and our great I disappear. We can be ourselves, together with others and dare to stand up and show our inner discomfort and utmost pleasure.

We invite all elements of our mind and meet it all with open arms. Perhaps we are not alone, maybe there are others who, after all, “only” are people with all kinds of challenges and imbalances in the baggage and that’s okay, let’s accept each other as we are ligenu. We create a circle that can receive and provide everything we need.

So what’s up for you to come? how are you invited so you feel called? How can you take your door handle and walk within the days when you feel most vulnerable?

The door is open to you and you are welcome in this earthy room.

I believe we all have something to offer and everyone’s experiences are useful and unique. Of course, I also have some ideas, experiences and methods I use in a cocoa ceremony, but I would like us to leave my ideas and create our own unique ways and experiences that can evolve from time to time. Therefore, you are very welcome to come up with suggestions and actions.

The cocoa is our traveling companion and medicine, the real healer is YOU and the community – helping to nurture others with your presence and with the community and the cohesion we create.

About the cocoa: Cocoa has been used for many thousands of years in South American cultures and has been considered very expensive and as a source of coming into contact with the divine. You used the cocoa in a spicy drink in rituals and ceremonies. The Mayans even had a cocoa god and cocoa was also used as a currency.

The cocoa we use is from Peru / Bali and harvested by local farmers. It is eco and raw and therefore contains countless minerals and antioxidants. We drink a ceremonial dose to achieve the desired effect that fluctuates from person to person depending on lifestyle and diet. However, most people experience an exhilaration, warmth and expansion of the heart chakra.
Please note that this dose should be adjusted if you have severe heart problems, take antipsychotic / anti depressive medicine or are pregnant. Therefore, please contact me before the ceremony.

Bring comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle, possibly a pillow and blanket.
Do not attempt to eat 3 hours before and avoid caffeine on the day.
Bring some healthy snack / fruit for sharing after the ceremony.
